Description and Causes
Females are normally affected by this disease. Parts of their chromosomes are missing. There are two types of Turner syndromes. The first one is classical. That means an X is missing. The next type is mosaic. That means something that is not normal is occurring in the X chromosome or part of a cell.
Symptoms
People may have Physical disabilities, learning disabilities, and emotional disabilities. People may also have high blood pressure. Other symptoms are:
- Dry eyes
- Short of height
- No period
- Swollen hands and feet
